Regarding IT, I have been passionate about computers, technology, programming and best practices my entire life. The majority of my skills and experience originates from an interest in the \"latest and greatest\" technologies and methodologies (of which I keep up with daily.) Regarding health care, I feel that of the many applications of technology, improving healthcare and ultimately patient care is among the most noble. The vast amount of data and systems in health care combined with the ability to affect lives and ease of use for providers was a natural draw.

My strengths are: the natural ability to lead and form trust and confidence in my knowledge, wide understanding of many new and legacy technologies, passion for elegant solutions and best practices. My weakness is stubbornness when I feel that the right solution is not being implemented or understood correctly.
